Acclaimed director Simon Godwin (Romeo & Juliet, Twelfth Night, Antony and Cleopatra) features Katherine Parkinson (Home, I’m Darling, The IT Crowd) and John Heffernan (A Gentleman in Moscow, Dracula, She Stoops to Conquer) in a hilarious new twist to a much-loved comedy. Set in the 1930s on the Italian Riviera, Beatrice and Benedick jostle and parry through the National Theatre’s popular new production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado.

A live performance in London was filmed in 2022 and transmitted around the US and to other countries in 2023, through NT Live.
